Welcome to the WaterMill Tea Rooms

The Watermill Tearooms
Iona and her team would like to welcome you to The Water Mill Tearooms.
Nestled along the River Nene in the village of Ringstead, Northamptonshire, our tearoom offers a cosy place for you to unwind and enjoy everything we have to offer.
Service is at the heart of our multi award-winning tearoom so you can always be sure to receive a warm welcome and a genuine smile.
Well behaved dogs are absolutely welcome in our garden and cosy lounge area- we only ask that all four paws remain firmly on the ground, not on our furniture and that you don’t take your furry friends into the main dining room.
We source our ingredients locally and are proud to support fantastic suppliers from nearby. Our meat comes from an award-winning butcher in the next village, our eggs are free range from happy chickens on a family run farm in Finedon. Our fruit and dairy produce come from a small, family run business in Raunds and we have a fantastic selection of gifts/ smaller items from other local suppliers such as Ganders Goat, Green Kitchen Preserves, Gun Dog Ales, Amps Fine Wines and many more.
We treat our produce with the respect it deserves to create delicious, homemade food for you to enjoy. Everything on our menu is made fresh to order and we are more than happy to adapt our menu to suit your dietary requirements so please don’t hesitate to ask- we are always happy to help!

We are much more than just a tearoom; we run a variety of events throughout the year such as wine and cheese tastings, Christmas markets and BBQs. We love collaborating with local businesses to bring you the very best of what Northamptonshire has to offer.
Above the historic tearoom, we also have holiday lets available to rent. Please see the ‘Stay With Us’ section if you fancy joining us for a wonderful escape in the countryside and remember that if you would like to book October- March then it’s best to come direct to us as we can offer a slightly reduced rate.
Please note: due to the situation and listed status of the building, we do have limited disabled access. Regrettably this is something that is out of our control, however, please don’t let it put you off as we are always happy to help you into the building. To the rear of the tearoom, we have a ramp that we can easily put down to allow step free access and we have installed a handrail by the front door to assist those with limited mobility. If access is too tricky but you want to see what we have to offer- never fear as we have another venue just around the corner in Woodford which is fully accessible. See details for The Grain Store Coffeehouse below to find out more!
